What is the story about?

On a crucial drive heading into halftime, down 13-6, Tyler Shough and the New Orleans Saints offense answered with a 4-yard touchdown strike to tight end Noah Fant to tie the game against the Las Vegas Raiders.

Facing another third-and-goal situation, Shough found his other security blanket at tight end (having previously scored a touchdown pass with Juwan Johnson), hitting Fant on a slant route while he was singled up against a Raiders defensive back. Fant made the most of the one-on-one matchup, hauling in the touchdown to even the score before halftime.

It was another clutch response from Shough and the Saints offense,

who once again came through when they needed it most. They’ll need to continue generating offense in the second half, however, as the Raiders have shown they can move the football consistently throughout the first half. Hopefully this first-half scoring output is aa sign of progress after too many slow starts.
