What is the story about?
The
New Orleans Saints listed 13 players on the first injury report of Week 5. All-Pro wide receiver Chris Olave missed practice with a rest day and rookie draft pick Lorenzo Styles Jr. returned from injured reserve. Because they're on a short week after a loss to the Atlanta Falcons on Monday Night Football, the Saints only held a half-speed walkthrough on Wednesday and estimated participation based on which players had been receiving treatment from the team's training staff. We'll update with the Minnesota Vikings injury report once it's available:
Did not participate
- WR Barion Brown (thigh)
- LB Kaden Elliss (calf)
- EDGE Anfernee Jennings (knee)
- RB Alvin Kamara (back)
- WR Chris Olave (not injury related/rest)
Limited at practice
- S Julian Blackmon (shoulder)
- TE Noah Fant (abdomen)
- EDGE Carl Granderson (ankle)
- S Mike Reid (ankle)
- QB Tyler Shough (left hand)
Full participation
- LB Jaylan Ford (ankle)
- DT Davon Godchaux (groin)
- CB Lorenzo Styles (calf)
