Week 3 of the 2026 NFL season was a doozy for the New Orleans Saints, as they looked to have a firm grasp on a win over the Las Vegas Raiders before losing it all in the fourth quarter, falling to 1-2. While the offense found a bit of a footing before then, which was unusual through the first two weeks, it imploded in the fourth quarter with a multitude of turnovers.
In positive news, there was one major takeaway from this game, that being that the tight ends had found their stride in this one, with both Juwan Johnson and Noah Fant picking up two receiving touchdowns of their own.
Why is this notable, you may ask? Well, it is only the third time in modern NFL history that two tight end teammates have had two or more touchdowns together in a game,
as was observed by Benjamin Solak of ESPN. While this is a bit of a nitpicky or niche metric, it is extremely impressive nonetheless, and bodes well for the passing attack heading into a critical Week 4 battle with the Atlanta Falcons.

This is only the second time since 1960, per ESPN Research and Elias Stats, that two tight end teammates have had multiple touchdowns in the same game.
With Travis Etienne Jr. suffering an injury in Week 3, throwing the ball will be even more viable as a means to success, so we will see how the tight ends, along with Chris Olave and company, can get things done next weekend.
