Alvin Kamara went more than a year without a rushing touchdown. Against the Atlanta Falcons on Monday night, he found the end zone twice. His second touchdown cut Atlanta's lead to 31-17 with 13:00 remaining in the fourth quarter, giving the New Orleans Saints another score from their veteran running back.
Kamara's first touchdown came on a drive set up by Chris Olave's 44-yard gain. He added another early in the fourth quarter, helping New Orleans chip away at the deficit after Atlanta had built a sizable lead.

The touchdowns were a welcome change for Kamara, whose last rushing score before Monday came in Week 1 last season.
New Orleans needs much more consistent production from its running game; the two touchdowns alone won't tell the whole story. Still, getting Kamara involved near the goal line and scoring twice gives the Saints something to build on.
