We've gotten our hands on the final injury report for Week 9's game between the New Orleans Saints (2-5) and Cleveland Browns (5-3). Just two players have been ruled out for Sunday's matchup at the Caesars Superdome: Browns defensive tackle Maliek Collins (elbow, illness) and Saints running back CJ Donaldson (shoulder, concussion). Those are notable losses for both teams. Collins leads Cleveland's defensive line in snaps played by a healthy margin (94 more reps than the next-closest player) while Donaldson has earned a role for himself in the New Orleans backfield as a short-yardage specialist who can be trusted in pass protection.
What about the players who are questionable to play? We already know that Shedeur Sanders will be starting at quarterback
for the Browns, but Deshaun Watson (concussion) is questionable to serve as the backup or emergency third QB. Meanwhile, four different Saints players are questionable: left tackle Kelvin Banks Jr. (ankle), wide receiver Jordyn Tyson (hamstring), cornerback Martin Emerson Jr. (shin), and offensive tackle Asim Richards (thumb). Richards has been starting in Banks' place since mid-September so the Saints would be forced to start journeyman backup Mason Murphy if they both can't go. Just based off observations at practice, it sounds like Tyson is closer to playing than Banks is, but for now they both remain on injured reserve.

Everyone else on the injury report is good to go. That group includes Saints running back Alvin Kamara (back), safety Justin Reid (concussion), right guard Cesar Ruiz (knee), and defensive tackle Nathan Shepherd (illness). For Cleveland, the biggest injury to monitor is tight end Harold Fannin (groin), who was limited to close out the week. Let's play ball.
