Take a bow, Bryce Lance. The New Orleans Saints rookie scored the first touchdown of his NFL career in the second quarter of Sunday's game with the New York Giants. It was a nice moment of redemption for him after Lance had a bad drop earlier in the game.
Lance has had to play a lot of snaps after the Saints lost their first-round pick for the first part of the season; Jordyn Tyson is still recovering from a hamstring injury he suffered in the preseason. While Lance has only caught five passes for 57 yards in the first five games, the fourth rounder from North Dakota State has been the de facto WR3 behind Chris Olave and Devaughn Vele.

Hopefully this makes for good experience
for Lance once Tyson is back in the field, either next week against the Pittsburgh Steelers or after the bye week in November. He was regarded as a highly athletic but unpolished prospect coming out of NDSU, and getting these reps could give him a lot to learn from as his career continues.
