It's Week 3, which means the Las Vegas Raiders are coming up as the New Orleans Saints' next opponent. And that means we're highlighting some of the best plays the black and gold have made against the silver and black in their series history.
Malcolm Jenkins gave the Saints a rare defensive highlight during what had been a historically-bad season for that side of the ball, intercepting Raiders quarterback Carson Palmer at his 45-yard line before taking it all the way back for a score. Jenkins slipped past right guard Mike Brisiel on the return and cut towards the sideline, where he got some help from teammates like Turk McBride and Tom Johnson, whose blocking walled off pursuing Raiders. After sprinting down a tightrope to stay in bounds, Jenkins hustled

This was one of three pick-sixes Jenkins recorded in his career (the other two came against Sam Bradford in 2010 and Mac Jones in 2021), tying him with Brett Maxie, Jim Merlo, and Darren Sharper for the second-most in team history. Sammy Knight remains the franchise record holder with four interceptions returned for touchdowns. Jenkins also recovered a fumble and returned it for a touchdown. If you lump those together, his four defensive touchdowns match Knight and Tom Myers for the most in team history.
