The New Orleans Saints and las Vegas Raiders announced their lists of inactive players for Sunday's game at the Caesars Superdome, and for the most part, there weren't many surprises. We knew Saints rookies like defensive tackle Christen Miller and wide receiver Barion Brown were dealing with injuries and would not play.
However, the Raiders' former first-round draft pick Tyree Wilson is a healthy scratch. New Orleans acquired Wilson in a draft-day trade this spring from Las Vegas in hopes of turning his career around after an underwhelming start. But he hasn't been able to earn more snaps in the rotation behind Chase Young, Carl Granderson, Cameron Jordan and Anfernee Jennings. After dressing out and not getting on the field one week ago, Wilson will
be watching this one in sweats. Maybe it lights a fire under him. Saints running back Kendre Miller is active after getting similar treatment last Sunday.
On the other side, the biggest development for the Raiders is tight end Brock Bowers making his season debut. Bowers missed the first two games with a knee injury and only practiced on a limited basis this week, but he's good to go in New Orleans. Look for Las Vegas to scheme up some targets for him on critical third downs and red zone possessions. The Saints defense must be ready for him.
