Football is finally back, and the New Orleans Saints will be part of FOX's early Sunday lineup in Week 1. The Saints' road matchup against the Detroit Lions is highlighted in green on the latest 506 Sports broadcast map, giving the season opener a solid regional footprint. All of Louisiana, most of Arkansas and Mississippi as well as eastern Texas and southwest Alabama will have the game. So will most of Michigan (a few communities in the Upper Peninsula and the South Bend, Indiana suburbs are getting the Chicago Bears game instead) and Toledo, Ohio, too.

The game is scheduled for Noon CT on Sunday, Sept. 13 at Ford Field in Detroit. Kenny Albert will handle the play-by-play, while former Saints linebacker Jonathan Vilma will serve as the color

analyst. Megan Olivi is the sideline reporter.

FOX is splitting its early window between four different games, so coverage will vary depending on where viewers live. Saints fans should check their local listings before kickoff, but the broadcast map suggests New Orleans-Detroit will be available to a healthy number of viewers as the Saints begin the 2026 season.
