Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly now prioritizing a move for Barcelona’s Ferran Torres after pulling out of the race to land Yan Diomande.
Luis Enrique’s side had been willing to spend big on Diomande but have withdrawn their interest. The winger is now expected to join Real Madrid instead in a big-money move.
According to Diario Sport, the situation means that PSG now want to add Ferran and Monaco winger Maghnes Akliouche this summer and will offload Bradley Barcola and Kolo Muani.
PSG have already
been in talks with Ferran and want to now close an agreement in the next few days. A four-year contract is on the table, with PSG also willing to offer a better financial package than Barca.
Barcelona are hoping to extend Ferran’s contract but aren’t planning on offering a new contract until September and aren’t expected to match PSG’s numbers.
The final decision is now down to Torres who is currently enjoying some time off after scoring the winning goal in the World Cup final.
