Sjoeke Nüsken has become an integral part of the Chelsea squad since joining from Eintracht Frankfurt in 2023, so it’s great to see that she’s been rewarded with a new contract good through 2027. Her previous
deal was set to expire next summer, so while this isn’t exactly a long-term extension, it will be good enough for now, at least to stop any further speculation about her future.
“I’m very happy to have another year at Chelsea, to stay another year with my team. We have a big year coming up, and hopefully, we can achieve the Champions League title. We want to achieve a lot of things together.”

Nüsken has made 76 appearances in her two seasons and change at the club, scoring 17 goals in all competitions: a pretty good return for a box-to-box midfielder and occasional defender. An injury has limited her to just a couple appearances so far this season, but she should be back healthy and fit now.
“We’re really pleased that Sjoeke has renewed with Chelsea. She has been an important part of the success that we’ve had over the last couple of years, and we’re looking forward to seeing her contribute again in the current campaign.”

Congrats, Sio! Let’s keep winning all the things!
