Marc Bernal has been asked to name the one player he would sign for Barcelona and was in no doubt who to go for.
The midfielder says Julian Alvarez is the man he’d bring to Camp Nou in a new interview with Diara Ara.
Alvarez has indeed been linked with a move to Barcelona recently. His agent has said he’d love to play for the Catalans, but his lofty price tag makes any move look extremely difficult
.Bernal also spoke about some of his team-mates. Frenkie de Jong was the player who had surprised him
most in training and Fermin Lopez was named the funniest in the locker room.
The midfielder also spoke about his injury and how he’s trying his best to put it in the past after returning to full fitness.
“The injury is a thing of the past now. When I play, I don’t think about it. At most, I’ve had some bad sensations,” he explained.
“Nothing more. It was something that worried me, whether I’d have any discomfort or not. But for now, none.”
Bernal has made three substitute appearances so far this season for Barca as the club ease him back gently after a lengthy lay off.
