UFC 333 is just over a month away, but fighters still took to the stage earlier tonight (Fri., Sept. 18, 2026) for a pre-fight press conference LIVE on YouTube from Los Angeles, Calif., giving fight fans an early look into some of the best matchups for the remainder of the year.
Leading the way is a main event clash between reigning UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovksi and undefeated challenger Movsar Evloev, who has waited years for his chance to fight for UFC gold. Adding to the mix
is a co-main event trilogy fight between UFC bantamweight champion Petr Yan and former divisional king Merab Dvalishvili. Yan won their anticipated rematch back at UFC 323 to reclaim the 135-pound title.
On Friday, all four fighters joined on stage for UFC 333’s first pre-fight press conference. Following the conclusion of the event they were brought on stage for some faceoffs. While the overall gathering was cordial, it gave fight fans some insight into each matchup with six weeks left until the action unfolds inside of the Octagon.
