For the one of the leagues founding franchises with it’s history rooted before most people on this planet were ever born, the Chicago Bears have had a plethora of jersey combinations over the years.
Helmets, too, have evolved much over the last 100+ years. Heck, when the Bears first started, protective headgear was optional.
What has remained consistent are the colors that Bears players have worn over the years. With the exception of some basic brown/tan pants in the mid 1900’s, navy blue and orange
has remained a staple.
With that said, consider me a fan of these new renditions. While I feel the helmet could use a little work and I really want to see an all-white look, overall I love the color scheme of these new unis and believe this is the best use of orange as accents we have ever seen. Take a look yourself.
