Welcome to our drawing board, where our resident cartoonist, Finn (@Finn_Madridista), will sling out some dope and exclusive art for you — usually on the back of a big moment that’s captured our attention in the Real Madrid world. Here’s Finn’s latest drawing, and if you ever want to look back at Finn’s previous (and amazing) work, just check out our Drawing Board page.
Finn captures it perfectly: Real Madrid’s defensive structure was so solid that Thibaut Courtois barely had to break a sweat in the
1–0 win over Osasuna.
In this illustration, Courtois is pictured peeking over a giant brick wall, curious about what’s happening on the other side—while Osasuna’s attackers are left stranded, looking for a way through with nothing but a ladder.
The “new Madrid wall” could turn games like these into quiet nights for Courtois, who remains one of the best keepers in the world when called upon.
