We’re still one day away from Cleveland Cavaliers basketball returning to our lives. Until then, we have some frankly mediocre NBA games to hold us over.
Today’s game of the day
- Los Angeles Clippers vs. Houston Rockets – 8 PM, NBA League Pass
Thursday’s slate of games is rough. I would never advise someone to actually watch Clippers games. But then again, I also can’t recommend watching the Pelicans, Giannis-less Bucks, or Kings?
At least with the Clippers game, you get a James Harden homecoming. And, there’s a part of me that still gets excited anytime members of the early 2010s Thunder
team share the court. We’ll get that with Kevin Durant and Harden playing on Thursday.
The rest of the NBA slate
- Portland Trail Blazers vs. New Orleans Pelicans – 8 PM
- Boston Celtics vs. Milwaukee Bucks – 8 PM
- Denver Nuggets vs. Sacramento Kings – 10 PM
