- LSU Injuries: Many major sports news outlets have reported that starting linebacker and team captain Whit Weeks will not play. But of course that means that he’ll play every defensive down. He had missed the past two games with an ankle injury. His brother and fellow starting LB Zach Weeks is announced as out. Starting LT Tyree Adams was injured two games ago and did not play in LSU’s last game. He is out for this one too.
- Alabama Injuries: Tight End/H-back Danny Lewis is questionable. WR Ryan Williams is probable.
- Series: Alabama is 57-27-5 all-time against them Bayou Bengals. Bama has won 12 of the last 14 meetings. Those two defeats came against Heisman-winning quarterbacks.
- Honoring: The Honorary Captains are two of the greats from the 1980s: CFB Hall of Fame linebacker Cornelius “Biscuit” Bennett and Bobby Humphrey who was an All-American RB and is father of another Bama great, Marlon Humphrey.
- Weather: It should be a nice night for football in T-town with the temperatures expected to maintain in the 60s throughout the game.
- TV Announcers: Sean McDonough and Greg McElroy with Molly McGrath on the sidelines.
- Radio: Chris Stewart, Tyler Watts, Corey Reamer on Alabama Radio.
- Vegas: The FanDuel point spread has Alabama as a 10.5 point favorite with an Over/Under of 49.5.
