What is the story about?
The Wildcats have lost yet another player from this past season, with freshman point guard Chris Jeffrey entering the transfer portal. The 6’3” guard initially committed to Kevin Willard at Maryland and followed Willard to Villanova. His subtraction leaves Villanova with no point guards on the current roster. Arkansas junior D.J. Wagner just visited the Wildcats on Tuesday, and Cornell transfer Jake Fiegen is on campus today.
Jeffrey played sparingly this past year due to an injury he suffered to his meniscus. He averaged 3 points, 1 rebound and 1 assist per game. The highlight of his season came in the opener against BYU, where he scored 11 points on 4/8 shooting.
