Portland Trail Blazers All-Star forward Deni Avdija was upgraded to questionable to play against the Memphis Grizzlies on the road Wednesday as he continues to deal with lower back injury management, the organization announced.
Avdija has missed Portland’s last four games after he reaggravated his back injury early in the first quarter against the Phoenix Suns on Feb. 22. He played just one minute in that game, a 92-77 Portland win.
Blazers forward Kris Murray is also questionable to play on Wednesday
as he continues to deal with an illness. The illness caused the third-year forward to exit Portland’s 135-101 loss to the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday after playing just four minutes.
Elsewhere on the injury report, Blazers players Yang Hansen, Caleb Love, Jayson Kent, Shaedon Sharpe and Damian Lillard are all listed as out.
