Being a fan of the Tennessee Titans is not for the faint of heart. The NFL is set up for teams to turn around very quickly. The Titans have not been able to do that. On Thursday, November 17th, the Titans beat the Green Bay Packers on the road. They had also won the previous week against the Denver Broncos. That is the last time they won back-to-back games. Since then, the Titans are 12-51.
The most disheartening thing is that there is no sign of things getting any better. What is there to say about
the game today? The offense is just terrible. Last week, we saw a huge game from Carnell Tate. This week, he had just one catch for six yards on five targets. The Texans were able to completely erase him from the game. Whose fault is that? Tate’s? Cam Ward’s? Brian Daboll’s? The answer is probably yes.
This game didn’t surprise me. There were a lot of people who thought the Titans had a chance to win. I was not one of those people. I’ll be surprised at this point if they don’t go 0-17.
