How to watch Warriors vs. Kings

The Golden State Warriors will face the Sacramento Kings on Friday night. The game is scheduled for 7:00 PM PT in San Francisco and can be watched on NBC Sports Bay Area.

Golden State has now won seven of its last 10 games after a 120–113 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday night. It was a balanced effort, with four of the five starters scoring in double figures (Moses Moody finished with nine points).

The most significant scoring punch, however, came from the Warriors’ reserves. De’Anthony Melton delivered his best performance of the season, scoring 22 points on 8-of-12 shooting, including five three-pointers, in 25 minutes off the bench.

What to watch for tonight:

The Warriors continue their homestand Friday night against a Kings team that has struggled this season. Sacramento’s eight wins on the year are tied with the New Orleans Pelicans for the fewest in the Western Conference. The Kings are also just 3–16 on the road where they own a league-worst 121.2 defensive rating.

Meanwhile, Golden State is beginning to find its rhythm, particularly when it comes to ball security. While the Warriors rank among the league’s worst in committing turnovers at 15.8 per game, they’ve managed just single-digit turnovers in each of their last two matchups.

Draymond Green, who has taken responsibility for the team’s turnover issues, credited a recent conversation with Steve Kerr for the improvement. If the Warriors can continue to play clean, then they should be in a strong position to win against a Kings team currently riding a six-game losing streak.
