Rams owner Stan Kroenke has added the L.A. Angels to his roster of sports franchises that he owns, and baseball superstar Mike Trout reached out to a football player to see what this new owner is all about. We don’t know who that player is, but we do know he had “good things” to say about Kroenke.
As baseball season gears up for their playoffs, football is about to only just begin. Whichever player spoke to Trout about the purchase is also busy packing up for Australia. They can touch back with Trout after

With Kroenke stepping in next year, Trout asked one Rams player about Kroenke and he heard nothing but good things.
“I reached out to one Ram player,” Trout said Tuesday. “I’m not going to drop any names but I spoke to one and he had some really good things to say.”

Everything? I don’t want to make it sound like the Rams definitely have a one-year championship window, but Matthew Stafford is 38 years old, they spent a first-round pick on Ty Simpson, and they traded for Myles Garrett and Trent McDuffie. They addressed other weaknesses in free agency. Oh, and Aaron Donald came out of retirement! Other than using the Simpson pick on another position, I’m not sure there’s really anything else the Rams could have done to better position themselves to make a run this season. Now all they have to do is go win the Super Bowl, because anything short of that will feel like a failure.“
