Just when we thought that we were done with changes to Bayern Munich loanees, Sacha Boey returns to Galatasaray. Austria returned to league play this week and the Brazilian Women’s Supercup was held — meaning that we are just waiting on the Regionalliga teams to have a everyone back from Winter break. See how the Supercup went for Guzmán, who made their debut for their loan teams, and who scored and assisted goals this week:
FC Bayern Munich
There are 11 players from on loan from the first team.
Germany – Bundesliga
There are three players
on loan to the German Bundesliga: Alexander Nübel, Arijon Ibrahimovic, and Armando Sieb.
Alexander Nübel – VfB Stuttgart
Nübel and Stuttgart spent the week in Northern Germany, with the first stop being a Pokal quarterfinal at Holstein Kiel. Nübel was in goal and faced three shots on goal — one early in the first half and two late in the second half. He saved all three shots and kept a shutout, which mixed with his team’s three goals, the 3-0 win put Stuttgart one step closer to defending their Pokal title.
On Saturday, Stuttgart was in Hamburg to face St Pauli. Pauli peppered Nübel’s goal throughout the match with seven shots on goal. He recorded an impressive five saves but let in two goals. Unfortunately, Stuttgart could only score one late goal and fell 2-1 on the road.
Stuttgart will return home to face Köln on Saturday.
Arijon Ibrahimović – 1. FC Heidenheim
Ibrahimović started for Heidenheim as they hosted HSV on Saturday. He did not have a shot attempt but created three chances for his teammates to shoot. He helped a bit on the defensive side of the ball too, but it was not enough for keep the road team from scoring. He left the match in the 63rd minute of the match with his team down 1-0. Heidenheim conceded another late goal and fell 2-0 at home.
Heidenheim will travel to face Augsburg on Sunday.
Armindo Sieb – 1. FSV Mainz 05
Sieb was not in the matchday squad for Mainz’ 2-0 home win over Augsburg. He was listed in the injury report as out a couple days with an illness.
Mainz — who have won four of their last five — will travel to face Dortmund on Friday.
England – Premier League
There are two players on loan to the English Premier League: João Palhinha and Jonah Kusi-Asare.
João Palhinha – Tottenham
Palhinha started for Spurs as they took on United in Manchester. He had one shot attempt — blocked at the top of the box — but did not create anything else on the attack. On defense he had three tackles, three clearances, one interception, and one recovery. He was subbed off in the 80th minute, down 1-0, but United scored just after he left and finished Spurs off 2-0.
Spurs will host Newcastle United on Tuesday and Arsenal on Sunday in the heated North London Derby.
Jonah Kusi-Asare – Fulham
Kusi-Asare was not on the matchday squad for Fulham’s 2-1 home loss against Everton.
Fulham travel to face Manchester City on Wednesday in league play and then will visit Stoke City of Championship in the FA Cup.
England – Championship
Daniel Peretz is the only player on loan to England’s Championship.
Daniel Peretz – Southampton
Peretz started in goal for Southampton when they hosted Watford. He faced two shots on goal — one in each half — and saved both, earning a shutout for his team. A 70th minute goal clinched a 1-0 home win for Southampton.
Southampton will travel to face Leicester City in league play on Tuesday. They will turnaround and host Leicester City on Saturday in the FA Cup.
Türkiye – Super Lig
Sacha Boey is the only player on from to the Turkish Super Lig.
Sacha Boey – Galatasaray
Boey was loaned out to his former club this week. He spent three seasons with Galatasaray before signing with Bayern in 2024, recording four goals in 83 appearances. He made his first appearance of this loan spell on Sunday. He came off the bench in the 75th minute, shortly after his team went up 3-0. He did not have a shot on goal, nor did he create a chance for his teammates to shoot, but he completed all 15 passes that he attempted. The score did not change in the last quarter hour and Galatasaray won 3-0 on the road.
Galatasaray will host Eyüpspor on Friday.
Switzerland – Super League
Lovro Zvonarek is the only player on loan from the first team to the Swiss Super League.
Lovro Zvonarek – Grasshopper
Zvonarek started in the Swiss Cup match at home against Sion. He played the full 120 minutes in a comeback extra time win. Grasshopper won 4-3 — after being down 2-0 and 3-2 — to move on to the semifinals.
Zvonarek was on the bench for Grasshopper’s 1-1 home draw against BSC Young Boys but did not make it onto the pitch.
Grasshopper will travel to face Luzern on Tuesday and to St Gallen on Saturday — both in league play.

Krattenmacher missed Hertha’s 3-0 road win against SC Elversberg on Saturday. He is still on the injury report with a thigh injury until mid-February.
Hertha will host SC Freiburg in the DFB Pokal on Tuesday and Aseko’s Hannover 96 in league play on Saturday.

Felipe Chavez – 1. FC Köln
Chavez made his debut for Köln on Sunday at home against RB Leipzig, though it was brief. He came off the bench in the 90th minute and played the nine minutes of stoppage time. He only had five touches, but completed all four passes that he attempted. The final score was settled long before he came in — Köln fell 2-1 at home.
Köln travel to face Nübel and Stuttgart on Satuday.
Germany – 2. Bundesliga
There are two players on loan from the second team in the 2. Bundesliga: Noel Aseko, Javier Fernandez, Grayson Dettoni, and Paul Scholl.
Noel Aseko – Hannover 96
Aseko started for Hannover at home against Holstein Kiel. He opened the match with an assist on the opening goal in the fifth minute. He then scored in the 21st minute to make it 2-0. On the day he had four total shots — one goal, another on goal, one missed wide, and one blocked — and in addition to his assist, he also had two more chances created. He also completed 90% of his passes on the day. He was the highest rated player in the match despite only playing 72 minutes. Both teams scored a goal after Aseko was subbed out and Hannover won 3-1 at home.
Hannover will travel to the capital to face Hertha BSC on Saturday.

Scholl started for KSC against Fortuna Düsseldorf and had an eventful 90 minutes. Down 1-0 at halftime, Scholl recorded an assist off of a set piece to level the match at 1-1. He also created another chance for his teammates to shoot and completed 88% of his attempted passes. On defense he recorded a tackle, three blocked shots, four clearances, and three recoveries. This helped his team hold Fortuna to one goal. The match ended 1-1.

Johnathan Asp Jensen – Grasshopper
Asp started for Grasshopper in the Swiss Cup match against Sion. Down 2-0 in the 76th minute, Asp scored the opening goal, sparking a comeback. Grasshopper leveled the match at 2-2, went down 3-2, and then found an equalizer in stoppage time to force extra time. Minutes into extra time, Grasshopper scored to go ahead 4-3 for good. Asp was subbed out in the 11th minute and Grasshopper held onto the win 4-3 and moved onto the semi-finals.

Hennig started for Hartberg for their long-awaited return from the Winter break. On the road against Rapid Wien, contributed to the first Hartberg goal of 2026 with an assist in the 15th minute. After that he did not contribute much to the match. He did not have a shot attempt, his assist was the only chance he created, and he completed just 50% of his passes. He was subbed out in the 80th minute with the match level 1-1, which was the final score.
Hartberg will host Altach on Saturday.
Jussef Nasrawe – SV Ried
Nasrawe was on the bench for Ried’s 1-0 road loss against Sturm Graz but did not make it onto the pitch.

Ana Guzmán is the only player on loan to Brazil’s Brasileirão Feminino.
Ana Guzmán – SE Palmerias
After winning the leauge and cup double in December, Palmerias faced Corinthians — the team that they beat in both finals — in the Supercup. Guzmán started on the bench and entered the match in the 89th minute, level 1-1. She played seven minutes and had just four touches. She could not help her team find a winner so the match went straight to penalties. She did not take one of the penalties, but her team won 5-4 after seven rounds.
Palmerias opens league play on Friday when they host América-MG.
