The Reds make their Anfield return after a largely successful preseason tour of the United States of Trump. The tour mostly featured youth and fringe players, but the likes of Gravenberch, Isak, and Wirtz got a few minutes toward the end.
Last time out was a tale of two halves, with Liverpool largely in control in the first—helped massively with the likes of Isak and Wirtz on the pitch—before the wheels completely came off in the second,
giving Liverpool supporters PTSD flashbacks to last season. You know, just in case we missed conceding goals from long throws.
Now, back on Brexit Island, Liverpool start preparing to kick a ball in anger, with the first Premier League match just 2 weeks away. Presumably we should see a few more first teamers in the mix (margin of error +/- Curtis Jones).
