Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NFL. Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in Seahawks fans and fans across the country. Sign up here to participate in the weekly emailed surveys.
It’s time for another Seahawks Reacts survey! Training camp is just about two weeks away for the Seattle Seahawks, and there will be plenty of intrigue as far as this year’s rookie class, in addition to who will make it to the active roster and practice squad. With only so many
spots and an abundance of talent, the Seahawks have one of those good problems to have.
Our only question this week is simple: Which position group are you most interested in during training camp? We’ve listed all possible positions on offense and defense, although we have grouped corners and safeties together to be defensive backs.
Quarterback is more or less a focus on Jalen Milroe and whether he can make stride in his second season, because otherwise it’s Sam Darnold and Drew Lock as the 1-2. Running back will be watched to see rookie Jadarian Price and FA signing Emanuel Wilson. Wide receiver ideally would mean Tory Horton can practice and we get a full offseason of Rashid Shaheed. Offensive line may see a lot of eyes laid on rookie Beau Stephens. Tight end is mostly set but fans might want to see more from Elijah Arroyo, plus Lance Mason could be an intriguing UDFA option.
On defense, the interior defensive line could be a compelling camp battle for nose tackle among Brandon Pili, Deven Eastern, and others. The edge rushing group is mostly the same but rookie Aidan Hubbard may be a UDFA gem, while Dante Fowler Jr needs to show how much he has left in the tank. Inside linebacker is mostly set, but what can Chris Paul Jr. offer up now that he’s been in the system for a full offseason? Lastly, cornerback will be a little different with Riq Woolen gone and a couple of rookies in the fold (as well as Noah Igbinoghene), while safety should see Ty Okada, Bud Clark, and Rodney Thomas II all competing for snaps.
