There’s never any shortage of drama at Barcelona and the last few days have provided plenty more – just not in the way we would like as culers.
An awful defeat to Atletico Madrid in the Copa del Rey brought an eight-minute VAR delay, a controversial decision to rule out a goal from Pau Cubarsi and left Barca with a mountain to climb in the second leg.
We were all hoping for a response on Monday against Girona but instead there was more disappointment as Barcelona wasted plenty of chances and lost 2-1.
The game also brought more controversy as Fran Beltran’s goal was given despite a foul on Jules Kounde in the build-up.
There was talk ahead of the game that Barcelona players had asked Flick to tweak his tactics but there seemed few changes against Girona and the boss was critical of his team after the game.
So what’s going wrong for Barcelona? Is it simply fatigue? Are tactics to blame? What needs to change?
Today‘s Barca Blaugranes Daily Question is therefore:
What’s going wrong for Hansi Flick and Barcelona and what needs to change?
