What is the story about?
This will be a quick since my keyboard fritzed and the work-around is a little slower, but this is BIG-Time D1/FBS football and like Dan Jenkins always said, “You Gotta Play Hurt.” (Even named a book after it.)
So no screwing around – let’s get to it starting with the availability report. As of mid-day Thursday, Rhule said everyone expected to play was ready to go, so let’s take a look.

- Of course, we haven’t played each other since 2020 Covid. And that line is down to 7 1/2, mfr’s.
- Looks like there’s another fan base that’s gonna keep on drinkin’, 4-6 record be damned. I feel ya’, Penn State, I feel ya’. (Not like THAT, though, let’s be very clear. )
- Matt Rhule walking in like Goldberg coming out of the locker room with the state troopers in tow. He needs to add the Erk Russell locker headbutt and roll out with the blood running down his forehead. (Google “Erk Russell” and select “Images”. You’ll see.)
