New Las Vegas Raiders head coach Klint Kubiak is continuing to interview for his defensive coordinator job as he is taking to DeMarcus Covington according to NFL Media. The Raiders have also reportedly interviewed their defensive line coach Rob Leonard for the job and Rams’ assistant Aubrey Pleasant and Seattle safety coach Jeff Howard.

Current job:
He was the Green Bay Packers defensive line coach and run-game coordinator in 2025.
Age:
He is 36.
Coaching experience:
He has nine years of NFL coaching experience. He cached under Bill Belichick four seven season with the New England Patriots’ including four seasons as the defensive line coach. He was Jerod Mayo’s defensive coordinator in 2024. But the staff was fired after the season.
Why the Raiders are interested:
Covington is the only of the Raiders’ four known candidates for the job to have experience at defensive coordinator. His time under Belichick is also attractive.
