Indiana football head coach Curt Cignetti provided a handful of injury updates during his usual Monday afternoon press conference ahead of the Hoosiers’ matchup against Wisconsin on Saturday.
On the offensive
line:
- “You know, Zen [Michalski] got dinged up in practice a little bit, so [Adedamola] Ajani got more work. Zen was able to play in the game but didn’t get the reps during the week. And Ajani played well. Drew Evans will be a few weeks yet.”
On wide receiver Elijah Sarratt:
- “Yeah, Sarratt is day-to-day right now, and I’ll know more every single day.”
Indiana has been without Evans for the past two weeks after he suffered an injury ahead of the Hoosiers’ road matchup against Maryland, with Michalski stepping up in his place. Ajani, a redshirt freshman out of Speedway, saw plenty of snaps against Penn State.
Elijah Sarratt had been dealing with hamstring issues leading up to the Maryland game, ultimately not playing against the Terps. He also saw no snaps against Penn State.
Indiana will take on Wisconsin at Memorial Stadium in Bloomington on Saturday.
