The Cleveland Browns had needs at offensive tackle and wide receiver heading into the 2026 NFL draft and filled both of them. OT Spencer Fano was the first tackle off the board, then came WR KC Concepcion, the fourth wide receiver taken in this year’s draft. The Browns also made a small trade down to add more picks in this year’s draft.
With the pick they received this year from last year’s Travis Hunter deal, Cleveland added college football’s most versatile player. A look at his profile coming out
of Texas A&M.

What the Browns are getting:
Arguably the best creator of separation in the class, Concepcion has one of the best acceleration boosts off the line of scrimmage, and he knows exactly how to use it to get as many steps on defenders as possible each and every route. Concepcion can work anywhere across the offensive formation, but he’s especially difficult to cover when in the slot. He can become a massive mismatch against linebackers and inside the 20, where his elite suddenness can create throwing lanes in a phone booth.
Strengths
- Runs like his life depends on it after the catch and through traffic
- Explodes off the line of scrimmage to threaten vertically before creating effortless separation in the short to intermediate areas
- Can score the ball from anywhere if the initial tackler misses
Weakness
- Does not offer much as a run blocker
- One-note runner throughout his routes
- Drops show their head when working over the middle
