Barcelona are reportedly set to sign a new center-back in the summer transfer window in a bid to boost Hansi Flick’s backline.
Several names have also been mentioned as possible targets, including Crystal
Palace star Marc Guehi, Dortmund’s Nico Schlotterbeck and Inter ace Alessandro Bastoni.
A new report now claims there Barca have added two more names to their list of targets in the shape of Wolfsburg’s Konstantinos Koulierakis and Luka Vuskovic who is at Hamburg (but on loan from Tottenham).
The two youngsters are shining in the Bundesliga and their performances mean they seem to have caught the eye of the Catalan giants.
Liverpool have already been linked with a move for Koulierakis, and it does seem that he could move on in the summer after impressing for Wolfsburg.
Vuskovic is another player worth keeping an eye on. He apparently doesn’t want to return to Spurs when his loan deal expires, meaning his future is uncertain.
The youngster has recently made headlines for winning the Bundesliga’s Fair Play Moment of the Month for making sure Hamburg’s Miro Muheim didn’t swallow his tongue after a collision.
He also scored a brilliant flick against Werder Bremen to complete a stunning comeback from Hamburg at the start of December.
The teenager’s agent is Pini Zahavi, who is known to have a good relationship with Joan Laporta, which could potentially help Barcelona if they do decide to go for Vuskovic this summer.
