Good morning, BBN!
Finally, Kentucky Basketball is back, and in a big way.
The Cats take on the Alabama Crimson Tide today at 12:00 PM ET. You can watch the game on ESPN.
The last time we saw this team play
was 11 days ago, when they took down Bellarmine in a closer game than most would have liked.
However, Jaland Lowe didn’t play, and Jayden Quaintance only played a few minutes.
Today, it seems like both will be back with a force, and the Cats need them to be.
Alabama is a great team that has a style of play that has been consistent since Nate Oats took over: fast and aggressive.
They’re averaging a whopping 94.5 PPG, led by their star guards Labaron Philon Jr. (21.9 PPG) and Aden Holloway (17.6 PPG).
If the Cats are going to win today, it will have to be a defensive-first mindset, which they’ve shown they can do.
What do you think? Will the UK start conference play with a win?
Tweet of the Day
This would be a massive grab for Kentucky Football.
