The Buffalo Bills (and Baltimore Ravens) are idle in Week 7, but there’s plenty of football to enjoy. You know you’re tuning in even if you only have eyes for the Bills. It’s okay, everyone does it. In
fact, within the world of SB Nation, no fan base is as active and interested in league-wide action as is true of Rumblers. You all bring it every week!
That’s what makes these open threads so fun — sure there’s always plenty to discuss about Buffalo, but to have a space (or several) where you can discuss the rest of the NFL each week enhances fandom. At least, I believe that’s true.
What’s true is that rooting interests are alive and well for Bills Mafia in Week 7, and that’s the only way Buffalo can gain any ground during their bye. Depending on how you view the situation, things started well for the Bills this past Thursday when the Cincinnati Bengals defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers 33-31. Sure, there are those who don’t want to see quarterback Joe Burrow back and battling Buffalo in the playoffs, but the best move now if for every team in front of the Bills to lose, and do so often.
The most important matchup to keep an eye on today is between the Tennessee Titans and New England Patriots. With the Patriots one half game ahead of Buffalo, Bills Country should be all about Tennessee today.
Then early this morning (of course, dependent on where you live) the Los Angeles Rams head-butted the Jacksonville Jaguars off their pedestal, with a 35-7 thrashing in Europe.
With that, here’s your open thread for all of this afternoon’s games. As always, be kind to one another — and in all things… Go Bills!
