Some notes
- For the Chiefs, left tackle Josh Simmons will miss another game for personal reasons — extending his total to three — as the team has declared him out for Monday’s game. He has now been excused from six practices. According to Reid, Simmons is “taking care of family.”
- Guard Trey Smith (back) did not participate in all three of this week’s workouts while dealing with back spasms. The team has listed him as doubtful for Monday’s game.
- Running back Kareem Hunt (ankle – knee) was upgraded to full participation on Saturday after being limited on Friday. He is good to go for Monday — as is cornerback Jaylen Watson (back), who has been a full participant on Thursday and Friday.
