This marks the fourth event for the fast-rising Dirty Boxing promotion, which continues to blend traditional striking rules with MMA-style matchmaking to deliver action-packed cards. DBX 4 features 12 fights in total, including several familiar names from
UFC, Bellator, and PFL competition. (Check out the full card here.)
In the main event, Olympic gold medalist and two-time NCAA Division I Heavyweight champion, Gable Steveson, collides with former Bellator veteran Billy Swanson in a showcase designed to highlight Steveson’s evolving striking game. The decorated wrestler is widely seen as one of the top unsigned prospects in combat sports, and this performance could serve as an unofficial UFC audition (watch their intense, physical staredown here.)
In the co-main event, former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) serial weigh-misser Bryan Battle takes on Team Diaz’s Nick Kohring. Expect fireworks when these two collide.
Also on the main card, 47-year-old UFC veteran Francisco Trinaldo returns to DBX after scoring a first-round knockout in his promotional debut. He’ll face Muay Thai world champion Nayanesh Ayman, who plans to test Trinaldo’s striking in a pure stand-up battle.
In other featured action, James Cannon — who shocked Hector Lombard earlier this year as a massive underdog — returns to face Zaine Burton, a hometown favorite eager to protect his turf in front of the Nashville crowd.
