Celiscar, a 6-6, 210-pound forward, is coming off a strong sophomore season at Yale and will enter the portal with two years of eligibility remaining. He averaged 13.2 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game while starting all 31 contests and logging 31.1 minutes per game.
Efficiency
was a major strength for Celiscar, as he shot 57.3% from the field on 8.2 attempts per game. He also displayed the ability to stretch the floor, shooting 40.7% from 3-point range on 1.9 attempts per game, making him a versatile offensive option.
Celiscar elevated his play in key moments late in the season. He scored 27 points against Cornell in the conference tournament, followed by 17 points against Pennsylvania. In postseason play, he added 23 points in an NIT loss to UNC Wilmington, further showcasing his scoring ability.
Along with Kentucky, Celiscar is also expected to meet with Baylor, highlighting the level of interest in the Ivy League standout.
