The New England Patriots received some good news ahead of Sunday’s game against the Tennessee Titans. Both wide receiver Stefon Diggs and outside linebacker Harold Landry have been deemed good to go for
the Week 7 contest in Nashville.
Diggs and Landry were both listed as questionable heading into the weekend. The former was dealing with a chest injury, while the latter hurt his knee in a win over New Orleans last Sunday. And yet, both of them will suit up for the Patriots’ game in Tennessee.
It remains to be seen whether they will play their usual number of snaps, but seeing both active is definitely good news for their respective position groups and overall units. After all, Diggs is the Patriots’ leading receiver with 32 catches on 37 targets for 387 yards. Landry, who will be going up against his former team, is currently tops among New England’s pass rushers with 4.5 sacks and a forced fumble.
The Patriots’ inactives, meanwhile, looks as follows:
Patriots inactives
- QB3 Tommy DeVito
- OL Caedan Wallace
- DT Eric Gregory
- ED Anfernee Jennings
- CB Charles Woods
- S Jaylinn Hawkins
The Patriots did not rule any players out ahead of their trip to Tennessee, with the aforementioned Stefon Diggs and Harold Landry among four questionables. While they were cleared, safety Jaylinn Hawkins (hamstring) and cornerback Charles Woods (knee) were not.
Joining them on the inactives list are four healthy scratches. Anfernee Jennings, who previously dealt with an ankle injury has been ruled out despite going without an injury designation, as were the typical game day inactives: Tommy DeVito, Caedan Wallace and Eric Gregory remain little more than emergency options at their respective positions.
Titans inactives
- WR Calvin Ridley
- WR Bryce Oliver
- OT Brandon Crenshaw-Dickson
- OL Blake Hance
- DL C.J. Ravenell
- ED Arden Key
- CB Samuel Womack III
Led by wide receiver Calvin Ridley, who is nursing a hamstring injury, the Titans already ruled out four players heading into the weekend. The three who joined them on the inactives list, meanwhile, were all made healthy scratches.
Kickoff between the Patriots and Titans at Nissan Stadium in Nashville is set for 1 p.m. ET.
