There may be only two games left in the season, but the business of filling out NFL rosters never really stops. With safety Tyler Nubin out this Sunday against the Las Vegas Raiders due to a neck injury, the Giants on Friday added safety Patrick McMorris to their practice squad.
The 24-year-old McMorris was on the Giants’ practice squad for about three weeks at the beginning of the 2024 season.
McMorris was a sixth-round pick by the Miami Dolphins in the 2024 NFL Draft. He was waived by Miami this
season as part of final roster cuts.
McMorris, 6-foot, 206 pounds, played in six games for the Dolphins in 2024. He spent part of this season on the Arizona Cardinals’ practice squad.
With Nubin hurt, the Giants have only Jevon Holland, Dane Belton and Beau Brade as healthy safeties on the 53-man roster.
