The 2026 NFL Draft is getting closer. We are just a few weeks away from knowing who will be joining the Dallas Cowboys roster for the upcoming season out of the collegiate ranks. This is the final big piece of roster building to take place and is a huge moment for a franchise.
Hit on the right picks and you can change the organization’s future in a positive way. The same can happen if you miss on your picks, but that will take you into a negative change. The Cowboys 2026 draft is doubly important
to the franchise’s future because the team holds two first-round picks this year, a rare occurrence.
We’ve run through a ton of iterations of the draft with mock drafts, and have spent quite a bit of time profiling certain players we think the Cowboys might be interested in. We’ve also looked at other teams and what they might do in terms of players they want and trades they may make.
Given all the information available at this time, we want to get your take on the overall strategy the Cowboys should use in round one.
Should they trade up and ensure they get a defensive stud? Should they stay put with their two picks and let the board come to them? Or should they make a trade down to secure some more picks, preferably on Day 2 of the draft where they only have the 92nd pick?
We need your vote on a strategy, and then hit the comments to let us know why.
