What is the story about?
On Wednesday afternoon, it was reported that Kenyatta Watson, Boston College football’s general manager, has agreed to mutually part ways with Boston College.
The BC alum Watson arrived on the Heights in December to serve as the program’s first ever GM, blazing a path forward in the constantly shifting landscape
of college athletics. BC finally hit the transfer portal hard this offseason and upped its NIL spending, but so far it’s gotten them to just a 2-3 record and still a poor reputation when it comes to financial support.
It’s not clear why Watson and BC decided to end their relationship. But if the Eagles want to succeed moving forward, they’ll need to replace him before transfer portal season hits again later this fall.
