Indiana football head coach Curt Cignetti addressed the media during his usual press conference on Monday and provided a handful of updates on Indiana’s health heading into the matchup against Maryland.
Just three Hoosiers were listed in the Big Ten’s availability report ahead of the game against UCLA: defensive back Bryson Bonds and running back Lee Beebe Jr., who are both out for the season, and defensive Kellan Wyatt, who sustained a long-term injury against Michigan State.
Linebacker Aiden Fisher was injured during the game but remained moving along the sidelines with a brace on his knee, with Cignetti saying at the time that he was held out in part for precautionary reasons. Asked about Fisher on Monday, Cignetti replied that his status is “probable” against Maryland, a good sign for the Hoosiers.
Brendan Franke, who sustained an injury during the opening kickoff this past Saturday, is questionable for the matchup, Cignetti said.
