The Eagles continue to make changes to the roster following the teams first preseason game. Cornerback Jakorian Bennett left the game early against the Ravens due to injury, and now the Eagles are adding CB Isaiah Bolden to the room. They also waived OL Hollin Pierce to open up a spot for Bolden.
Bolden was drafted in 2023 by the Patriots, and he spent the next several years on and off IR and the practice squad.
The CB did play in 14 games during the 2024 season, recording 10 total tackles and one fumble recovery, and split reps between defense and special teams. He was ultimately cut by the Patriots in 2025 ahead of the regular season, and then spent nearly a week with the 49ers in mid-December.
Pierce faced a lot of competition up front, and he’s someone who has bounced on and off the Eagles roster in some capacity since early-2025. He’ll likely hang around Philly and could end up back on the practice squad as we get closer to final roster cuts.
