The Indianapolis Colts (0-2) host the also winless Houston Texans (0-2)(-1.5) for what’s shaping up to be close to a must-win game for both AFC South rivals—as only seven 0-3 teams all-time in NFL history have made the playoffs after such a slow start.

Coming into Sunday after two weeks of action, the Colts rank tied for 10th in average points scored per game (26.5 ppg.), while their defense ranks dead last league-wide (32nd), surrendering 37.0 avg points per game—after two nightmare defensive outings where the Indianapolis defense allowed consecutive 500+ offensive yard games.
Meanwhile, starting quarterback CJ Stroud and the Texans offense rank 21st in most points scored (18.5 avg. ppg.) after a bit of a slow start, while defensively, the returning stalwart unit under defensive minded head coach DeMeco Ryans has surprisingly allowed the 24th most points (28.0 avg. ppg.).
At Lucas Oil Stadium, the roof is already open on a pleasant fall day in Indianapolis, and temperatures are expected to be in the low seventies, rising to the mid-seventies throughout the late September afternoon.
