For the first time as conference opponents — and the first time ever — Florida State and Stanford will meet on the football field.
The Seminoles (3-3, 0-3 ACC) travel west to face the Cardinal (2-4, 1-2
ACC) this Saturday in a late-night matchup (10:30 p.m. ET), looking to snap a three-game losing streak and avoid an eighth straight conference defeat.
Florida State ranks third nationally in total offense at 536.5 yards per game and fifth in scoring offense at 44.2 points per game. The Seminoles have topped 500 yards of total offense in three consecutive games for the first time since 2013 and surpassed 400 yards in five straight contests for the first time since 2023.
FSU leads the ACC in several offensive categories, including total offense (536.5 ypg, 3rd nationally), rushing touchdowns (21, 3rd), yards per completion (15.56, 4th), first downs (160, 4th), rushing offense (274.5 ypg, 5th), scoring offense (44.2 ppg, 5th), third-down conversion rate (.544, 7th), yards per pass (9.89, 7th), yards per play (7.33, 8th) and passing efficiency (169.34, 13th).
Stanford’s defense has allowed the third-most red zone trips in the nation (30) but is tied for ninth nationally in opponent red zone touchdown percentage (40%). That mark ranks second in the ACC behind only North Carolina and tied with SMU. The Cardinal are also top-40 nationally in rush defense, allowing just 114.7 yards per game — on pace to be their best mark since 2014 (104.5 ypg).
