Bayern Munich faced FC Mainz 05 as the champions of Germany. What was supposed to be a simple away game however, turned into a nightmare as Mainz were leading with three goals by half-time. The second half saw several crucial substitutions like that of Jamal Musiala, Michael Olise and Harry Kane. These substitutions inevitably won Bayern the game.
Goals came from Nicolas Jackson and the three substitutes, and this culminated in a 4-3 win. Musiala was later voted man of the match for his extraordinary
performance. Following the game, the 23-year-old received much… praise from his teammates. If this is what praise looks like.
Musiala was mainly mobbed by Luis Díaz and Alphonso Davies and this was seemingly supported by Rodyse Munienge, manager Vincent Kompany’s personal asssiatant. Further the entire team including substitutes joined in this treatment of Musiala.
Well, the “praise” was well-deserved. The youngster was involved in virtually every goal, and it was in fact, his goal in the 80th that brought Bayern truly back in the game. It was his dribbling and ability to beat defenders and progress that helped in shifting the momentum completely on Bayern’s side. Mere minutes later, he secured the win by assisting Harry Kane in the winning goal.
This Bayern side is really something special, and the way the team interacts certainly proves that.
