In some years, Juventus have been busy during the month of June when it comes to transfer business. It’s safe to say that June 2026 is not going down as one of those months.
As we sit here on the eve of July arriving, Juventus have signed all of one player — and it is the one we all expected them to once the season was over with. There has been a change at the top of the sporting hierarchy with Giovanni Carnevali coming in as the new CEO, but that’s about it when it comes to things that have happened.
Instead, it’s been rumor after rumor — and that’s it.
Is that reason for concern? Or are so many clubs that aren’t the richest of the rich in Europe these days being hamstrung by the World Cup taking place and waiting for the actual transfer market to develop?
