Spoilers are out for the next episode of Friday Night SmackDown, and I’m not going to give you everything here but I will speak openly about at least one and you’ll just have to forgive me for that — Trick Williams is finally getting called up to the main roster.
Indeed, he makes an appearance on the show in a backstage segment, apparently confronting WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis. Now, we have a report from PW Insider that his story will be that he is a free agent
looking to sign. What’s more, they say he has yet to be listed on any particular brand on the main roster yet, so it’s at least possible and maybe even likely he appears on both shows for the time being.
Either way, he’s getting the call up in 2026 and it’s finally his time to show what he can do on the bigger stage.
Trick Willy spent years down in developmental, doing pretty much everything there is to do in NXT. That included winning multiple titles, even carrying the top championship for TNA for a time. You could argue he was right there with Carmelo Hayes at one point, and ‘Melo has been doing his thing on the main roster dating back to April of last year.
As far as what brand he ends up on, the blue brand seems like a relatively safe bet, considering he just recently got engaged to Lash Legend, who is also there. Oh, and so is Carmelo.
