The 2026 NFL Draft gets underway on Thursday with the Las Vegas Raiders on the clock when the draft begin just after 8 p.m. ET in Pittsburgh.
For those wanting to know when the Giants will be picking, note that each time has eight minutes to make their pick this year, two less minutes than in previous years. For Giants fans, that means there is about a 40-minute window for when the team will make their two first round picks— with the disclaimers that television and how long (or short) teams takes
to make a pick will effect the actual time NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell steps up to the microphone to announce the choice.
It is currently estimated that the Giants will make the fifth overall pick at approximately 8:40 p.m. ET. According to FanDuel, Ohio State linebacker Sonny Styles is the current favorite at +185, followed by Arizona State wide receiver Jordyn Tyson at +280 and Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love at +380.
Owning the 10th pick after the trade of Dexter Lawerence to the Cincinnati Bengals, the Giants second selection would be scheduled for approximately 9:20 p.m. ET. Fan Duel’s current betting for the 1oth overall pick is Styles’ college teammate, Ohio State safety Caleb Downs at +300. Tyson again has the next-lowest odds at +420, followed by Miami (Fl) offensive linemen Francis Mauigoa at +700.
The 2026 NFL Draft will be broadcast on ESPN, ABC, and NFL Network as well as streaming live on NFL+, ESPN App, Hulu + Live TV, Disney+, and FuboTV. Audio coverage is available on SiriusXM NFL Radio, Westwood One Sports, and ESPN Radio.
