Sophomore Angelo Ciaravino is staying at Northwestern, he announced on social media Saturday afternoon.
The Chicago native appeared in 33 games for the Wildcats this season, making 18 starts while averaging 6.3 points, 3.9 rebound and 1.2 assists per game. Known for his efficiency, versatility and high-IQ play, Ciaravino crafted his niche on the Wildcat roster by doing the little things well, including his strong rebounding and defensive intensity. He’ll likely take on a bigger role next season as he continues
his development and takes on a leadership role as a rising upperclassmen.
Ciaravino is the third player to announce his return to Northwester, joining Jake West and Phoenix Gill as the three confirmed Wildcats on next year’s roster.
