The World Series is set and the Yankees are stuck on the outside looking in as the division rival Blue Jays prepare to take their own shot at dispatching the Dodgers. The Yankees famously fell short in the 2024 Fall Classic, and in 2025, Toronto beat them in both the American League East race and an American League Division Series matchup.
The long offseason is upon us and fans have already begun pondering what the Yankees might do to get back to the World Series and win their first title since 2009. Pinstripe Alley will plenty of hot stove coverage ahead, but for now, we want to get the pulse on what you think should be Item No. 1 on the offseason agenda. We’re limiting the range of answers to this questions for simplicity and to get a read on a certain debate among Yankee fans.
So should the Yankees pursue the consensus top outfielder on the market, Kyle Tucker? Should they bring back popular 2025 Yankee Cody Bellinger? Tucker has the advantage in age, as he’ll be a fresh 29 on Opening Day 2026 while Bellinger will turn 31 next July. The latter does offer more defensive versatility though, and while a superior player, Tucker has had injury scares in both of the past couple campaigns. Either way, those two appear to be the top two hitters who wold make sense for the Yankees. Alternatively, if you think they should prioritize pitching, an “Other” option is available for your vote. And let us know in the comments who you’re thinking about!
We’ll check out the results later this week.
